When the Musée opened to the public on January 24, 1996, there were about 100 objects in the collection. Since then, thanks to the generosity of more than 500 donors, the collection has been continuously enriched and now consists of more than 30 000 pieces.
It includes numerous audio reproduction and recording devices, records, televisions, architectural acoustical plans along with many other examples of the technologies of the transmission and broadcasting of the sound and picture..
