Sunday October 6, 2024, the Musée des Ondes Émile Berliner had an exceptional visit: a member of the Berliner family.
Guy Lapierre, volunteer guide, had the privilege of offering a guided tour of the Musée des Ondes to Lauren Berliner, the great-granddaughter of Émile Berliner. She is the daughter of Jim Berliner himself the son of Robert, himself the son of Edgar, son of Émile. She was accompanied by her fiancé; Jason Parini. See attached photos.
Guy showed her photos he had taken during his visit to California in 1998, to his grandfather Robert Berliner. Lauren was delighted to give us news about her family.
Unfortunately, his grandfather Robert, visited in 1998, died in 2021. Below, the notice of his death:

The couple was in Montreal for only a few days. They also want to go see, at the address 4332 avenue Westmount, where his grandfather’s childhood home was. They signed the visitor register and made a $100 donation to the Museum.
